Canterbury Museum
Canterbury Museum is a just a minute walk from The Grange, on the edge of Hagley Park. Its displays document New Zealand and Canterbury’s history, along with a world-renowned natural history display, Antarctic Gallery and more, all housed in an historic stone building. The Christchurch Art Gallery is very close to The Grange. It is home to an extensive collection of local, national and international art. It features changing displays, including touring national and international exhibitions. Open 7 days, 10am-5pm, 10am-9pm Wednesday.

The Christchurch Tram goes right past The Grange, perfect for a leisurely trip round the town centre. The friendly and knowledgeable drivers provide a commentary on sites of interest, and a day-long ticket allows you to get on and off as often as you please.
