It is now September and that means one thing... Spring!! The start of warmer days and the promise of Summer arriving soon. There is plenty to see and do in Christchurch this month...

On the 10th of September at the Horncastle Arena, the one and only Bob Dylan will be performing! He's here in Christchurch for one night only and his show promises all his classic hits from throughout his massive six decade career. Tickets from Ticketek.

Soloist John Foster and the Woolston Brass Band join with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra for the performance of Sibelius's Finlandia, Trumpet Concerto by Hadyn and a world premiere of composer and conductor Kenneth Young's latest work on the 20th of September at the Air Force Museem. It can't be Spring without a Spring Garden Show! On over the weekend of the 20-21 of September it is the NZ Alpine Garden Society annual show. Located at the Canterbur Horticultural Society Centre on Riccarton Ave there will be art, flower and potted plant displays along with food and drink outlets. Entry is $5.
